Drone Strike in Odesa
On the evening of April 21, 2025, Odesa experienced a massive drone strike targeting a densely populated area of the city. Fires broke out.
The attack damaged residential buildings, civil infrastructure, and vehicles. Additionally, over 90 windows were shattered in three local schools. Two of these schools are currently operating remotely.
Information regarding the injured is still being confirmed.
The mayor of Odesa, along with emergency and municipal services, has arrived at the scene.
An operational headquarters will be established by the district administration in the morning, where consultations will be available on how to apply for financial aid to restore windows and doors, as well as receive compensation from the state budget under the eRecovery program.
Furthermore, reliable partners, including public and charitable organizations, will provide assistance by supplying temporary window closure kits to affected individuals.
