Easter Ceasefire Announced by Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a «Easter ceasefire».
The Russian Federation intends to cease all military operations from 6 PM on April 19 to midnight on April 21.
This declaration of the «Easter ceasefire» aims to reduce tensions in the region.
During this period, the Kremlin leader emphasized the necessity to «stop all military actions».
«We expect the Ukrainian side to follow our example,» said Putin.
He also added that Russian forces «must be prepared to counter any violations of the ceasefire and provocations».
As of 5:30 PM, the Ukrainian authorities had not commented on this initiative from Russia.
