Tribute to the Fallen F-16 Pilot

President Volodymyr Zelensky has posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to F-16 pilot Pavlo Ivanov.

Quote: "For personal courage and heroism displayed in the defense of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for selfless service to the Ukrainian people, I decree:
To award the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of "Gold Star" to Pavlo Ivanov – major (posthumously)".
Background: On April 12, during a combat mission on an F-16 aircraft, 26-year-old pilot Pavlo Ivanov was killed.
Zelensky noted that he listened to reports from military officials regarding this combat situation, and all circumstances of the event are being clarified.
