On Saturday, April 12, during a combat mission, a 26-year-old pilot named Pavlo Ivanov tragically lost his life while flying an F-16.

Details: A joint commission has started investigating all circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Currently, the department has not released further details regarding the pilot's death.
Update: The initial report mistakenly stated that Ivanov was 21 years old, but this was later corrected to 26.
President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the pilot's death.
