Dangerous Find on a Beach in Odesa Region

A mine was washed ashore on one of the beaches in the Odesa region. The explosive was successfully neutralized through a controlled detonation.
This was reported by the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service.
A local resident discovered the mine on the beach and promptly notified the nearest border unit.
The border guards immediately alerted specialists from the naval special unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who arrived at the scene, identified the munition, arranged for its transport, and destroyed it through a controlled explosion.
The State Border Guard Service emphasized that if suspicious objects are found, individuals should not approach or touch them and should immediately notify the relevant authorities.
