Emergency Response to Attack on Izmail Port

Following a nighttime assault by Russia on Izmail Port, a fire broke out in the gas-transmission equipment located aboard a civilian vessel flying the Turkish flag. This was reported by the State Enterprise «Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine» on Facebook.
An operational headquarters has been established at the scene, led by the head of the Izmail district administration.
Emergency services, including teams equipped with robotic systems, as well as auxiliary services, are involved in the response.
The situation is under constant monitoring.
According to local authorities, there are currently no grounds for evacuating the population.
The State Enterprise «Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine» is participating in all coordination processes and taking necessary actions within its competence.
