Drone Assault on Odesa: Consequences and Response

13 October 2025

Odesa has been subjected to a massive drone strike from Russian territory. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
As a result of the strikes, extensive fires broke out at warehouses containing textile goods (fabrics, clothing, footwear, etc.) and sewing equipment over an area exceeding 5,000 square meters. Additionally, one vehicle was destroyed.
The aftermath of the attack has been complicated by high fire loads and the lack of fire-fighting water supply at the site. Firefighters have organized a continuous water supply from nearby sources.
Preliminary information indicates that one person has been injured.
A total of 16 pieces of equipment and 56 rescuers have been dispatched by the State Emergency Service, with participation from the "Avangard" Fire Department, the National Guard fire unit, and the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine.
Efforts to respond to the enemy attack are still ongoing.
