Naval Forces Successfully Eliminate Mines Near Odesa

Naval forces have successfully destroyed eight dangerous anti-ship mines that washed ashore in the Odesa region. This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Navy via their Facebook page.
“During storm conditions along the Odesa coastline, our military detected 8 drifting mines that had been dislodged from their positions” – the report states.
Thanks to the efforts of the Navy units, these mines were eliminated, significantly reducing risks for the local population and shipping.
Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk noted that Russia still retains the capability to conduct offensive operations in the Black Sea.
