Return of Fallen Defenders: Latest Updates

As part of repatriation efforts on May 16, the bodies of 909 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.

Details: The returned defenders included those who fell from the Kurokhivka, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv areas.
They were also retrieved from morgues in the territory of Russia.
Quote: "Investigators, in collaboration with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will promptly identify the deceased".
