New Security Threats in Odesa: Drone Attack
During the night, the enemy launched another drone attack on Odesa.
Various areas of the city saw damage to apartment buildings and private homes.
The night attack severely damaged the upper floors of a 16-story residential building in the Kyiv district.
Preliminary inspections reveal that the destruction of several floors negatively affects the overall stability of the structure.
Currently, residents are being evacuated to facilitate stabilization work.
An operational headquarters is set up near the building, preparing lists for temporary accommodation for evacuees.
Residents can receive full information about available assistance and support.
Work to remove hazardous building elements is ongoing. A high-rise crane will be used for work on the upper floors, and temporary supports for the walls will be installed starting tomorrow to enhance the building's stability.
The area surrounding the site is cordoned off.
Residents of the nearby area are advised to stay away from the damaged building for safety reasons.
