Another Wave of Attacks on Odessa: Aftermath and Response

01 May 2025

Last night, the enemy launched another attack on Odessa, causing significant damage.

Various areas of Odessa saw residential buildings, private homes, a supermarket, a school, and cars affected.

Fires broke out at the impact sites, which were extinguished by firefighters along with volunteers and the national guard.

Sadly, two people lost their lives, and preliminary reports indicate that 15 others were injured.

The Mayor of Odessa and emergency services were dispatched to the scene.

In one of the apartment buildings, rescuers evacuated over 200 individuals together with coordinating services.

Tents for additional support have been set up at the locations, and operational and municipal services are working to mitigate the attack's aftermath.

Victims received the necessary medical assistance.

The school suffered minor damage — four windows were shattered.

In the morning, local operational headquarters are open, allowing residents to seek advice and submit documents for assistance.
