Visit of the Turkish Golf Ambassador to Odessa

Last week, Odessa welcomed Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chukhali, the Ambassador of the Turkish Golf Club. Previously, he lived and worked in Odessa for many years, representing the Ukrainian-Turkish Business Association and participating in the reconstruction of the specialized psychoneurological children's home.

This year, during his visit, Mr. Ozgur visited the children's home 'Sunshine', where he interacted with the children and medical staff, and also the library No. 21, where he took part in a golf master class.

As noted by Anna Lunova, the acting head of the maternal and child health protection sector, Mr. Ozgur assured that further cooperation and sponsorship from the sister city of Istanbul would continue.

On February 17, the library branch No. 21 hosted a master class for students of Lyceum No. 81 with the participation of Mr. Chukhali, where children learned golf techniques, hit their first balls, and received prizes.

In addition, the Ambassador shared information about the activities of golf clubs in Turkey and children's activities in schools and libraries.

The visit also outlined plans for collaboration between Bodrum and Odessa to promote Olympic sports, particularly golf.
