Enhancing Cycling Infrastructure in Odesa: New Opportunities for Cyclists

The municipal institution «Specialized Installation and Operation Division» has summarized the outcomes of work conducted during this health season along the city’s waterfront. 

Thanks to the opening of a new bike path from the 11th to the 16th station of the Great Fountain, cyclists can now conveniently travel from the city center to the 16th station. 

«This bike path allows for safe movement within the city. We are noticing its growing popularity, and on the mayor’s directive, we will continue to develop cycling routes throughout the city,» said Odesa's Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman. 

The president of the «Arcadia» bike club also highlighted the positive changes. 

«This bike path has become the best in the city. I can see that since its opening, the number of cyclists has significantly increased. People are actively responding to the new markings. It’s uplifting, as we witness the growth of cycling sports in Odesa,» said Viktoriya Bondarenko.

The city plans to further enhance its cycling infrastructure, including connecting residential areas through new bike routes.
