Celebrating the Winners of the Billiards Championship in Kyiv

From October 3 to 13, 2024, the Ukrainian billiards championship for athletes with mobility impairments and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took place in the capital.

Athletes from the «Odesa-Basket» organization participated and achieved remarkable success at the championship.  

Serhiy Kotsyuba claimed the top position among veterans, while Valeriy Chuhuyev and Dmytro Danilov secured third places.  

During an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council, Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov officially congratulated the «Odesa-Basket» athletes on their victories.

«You are a true example of courage and resilience. Your achievements inspire us all and demonstrate that there are no barriers for those who have a goal and strive for victory,» said the Mayor of Odesa.

Additionally, Hennadiy Trukhanov reminded everyone of the «Social Taxi» project, which provides free transportation within the city for individuals with disabilities. 

«This project is a significant step towards ensuring equal opportunities for all Odesa residents. We aim to create comfortable conditions for every citizen of our city,» the Mayor emphasized.
