Ukrainian Judo Championship for Young Cadets

From November 17 to 19, 2025, Uzhhorod hosted a thrilling Ukrainian championship in judo for young cadets under 17 years old.
More than 500 young athletes, born between 2009 and 2011, participated in the competitions representing 21 regions of Ukraine.
The Odesa region team was composed of talented athletes from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 15 in Odesa.
In the 73 kg weight category, the silver medal was won by Volodymyr Sorvachov, while Yuriy Pinchuk took home the bronze in the 66 kg category.
The athletes were trained by coach Hennadiy Yaremenko.
A total of 143 young athletes are engaged in judo at the municipal youth sports schools in Odesa.
