Muay Thai Tournament Honoring Ukraine's Heroes

From October 9 to 12, Lviv hosted the «Artan Cup» in Muay Thai, organized by the International Federation of Muay Thai (IFMA).

This tournament was dedicated to the memory of fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine, as well as athletes who took up arms in defense of their homeland during the war.

Boxers also competed for the Cup of Ukraine, with winners earning the right to represent Ukraine at the European Championship.

Odesa athletes performed exceptionally well. Dmitry Zanin won a silver medal in the under 60 kg category, while Nikita Kuts (under 57 kg), Mikhail Serdyuk (under 60 kg), and Bogdan Studnev (under 63 kg) claimed the Cup of Ukraine. The athletes were coached by Vladimir Pishenin, Andrey Vakarash, and Konstantin Trishin.
