Fight Night in Odesa: A Celebration of Mixed Martial Arts
On September 11, an MMA and KICKBOXING-PRO event was held at the Red Line in Odesa, organized by Ukrainian fights promotion with the support of the Odesa Regional State Administration, honoring the drone unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The event was organized by Oleksandr Hordiyenko, president of Ukrainian Fights Promotion.
The evening kicked off with star host Anastasia Tsymbalaru and the nation's chief ring announcer, Serhiy Bryl, welcoming attendees. In a video address, the commander of the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Brovdi Robert (Madyar), thanked the organizers and wished the fighters success in the octagon.
During the opening ceremony, several dignitaries were invited to speak, including the first deputy head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Kharlov, president of the Ukrainian kickboxing federation Oleg Manzyuk, head of the charity fund “Modern Ukraine” Volodymyr Havrush, and others.
The event drew notable sports figures, officials, military personnel, and business leaders.
The night featured 9 intense fights: 5 from MMA and 4 professional kickboxing matches, showcasing some of the best fighters in Ukraine, including world and European champions.
The evening was filled with thrilling bouts and spectacular knockouts.
Special guests of the event included the band “Dubky,” who performed their energetic hits.
From the command of the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Medvedev Vitaliy presented the organizers with a flag.
