Celebrating Shooting Achievements at the Ukrainian Championship

From August 10 to 17, the Ukrainian championship in shooting for athletes born in 2002 and younger was held in Vinnytsia.

The Odesa team, representing the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 3 and the regional Children and Youth Sports School of Shooting, achieved remarkable results.

In the men’s prone event with a small-caliber rifle at 50 meters, the champion of Ukraine was Ivan Tkalenko (regional Children and Youth Sports School), while Ilya Ananyev (CYS No. 3) secured a bronze medal.

In the MG-5 event (shooting from three positions), Ivan Tkalenko earned a silver medal, and the team consisting of Ivan Tkalenko, Danil Ananyev, and Yegor Mosusenko won bronze medals.

In the women’s prone shooting with a small-caliber rifle at 50 meters, the Odesa team, including Ksenia Gerasimova (CYS No. 3), Olga Rudik, and Ekaterina Nikonенко (regional Children and Youth Sports School), took home bronze medals.

Coaches Olga Chikalova (CYS No. 3) and Svitlana Skachko (regional Children and Youth Sports School) prepared the athletes for the competitions.
