Odessa Team Shines at the Ukrainian Aquathlon Championship
The Odessa region team made a remarkable impact at the summer Ukrainian aquathlon championship, which took place from August 1-3 in Cherkasy.
The competition featured:
- 32 athletes (8 girls, 24 boys)
- 3 coaches: Ivan Krychkin (head coach), Nina Bazhanova, Serhiy Demchuk
The team was formed by the students of FC "Forma" and SC "Sports Academy".
Individual achievements — a multitude of victories!
On the first day of the competition, the Odessa athletes clinched numerous victories and podium finishes in two categories:
- Ukrainian Championship
- Children's Triathlon League
1st place in both categories:
- Dondov Yakiv
- Bohdanova Alisa
- Istomin Myron
Other prize winners and finalists:
- Cherdintseva Milana – 1st place (CTL), 4th place (UC)
- Poddubna Oleksandra – 1st place (CTL), 2nd place (UC)
- Panteleev Dominik – 2nd place in both categories
- Konovalov Lev – 3rd place in both categories.
- Sviatokum Margarita, Alexeev Platon – 1st place (CTL), 3rd place (UC)
- Shmanova Adel, Lukyanenko Valeria, Domoshchey Mykola, Gladyshev Oleksandr – in the TOP-10
Mixed Relays!
On the second day, the Odessa team triumphed in the mixed relays (1 boy + 1 girl per team):
Age category "C" (2014-2017):
- Gold – Sviatokum Margarita + Panteleev Dominik
- Silver – Bohdanova Alisa + Istomin Myron
- Bronze – Alexeev Platon + Kobilyanska Anna-Maria
- Age category "B" (2012-2013):
- Gold – Vikulov Timofiy + Poddubna Oleksandra
- Age category "A" (2008-2009):
- Bronze – Domoshchey Mykola + Shmanova Adel
- 6th place – Gladyshev Oleksandr + Lukyanenko Valeria
