Odesa Rowers Shine at Ukrainian Championship

Rowers from Odesa showcased their talent by winning 6 medals at the Ukrainian championship.
The championship took place in Uman from July 16 to July 20 and served as a qualifier for the world championship.
Albina Yakobchuk from the KDYUSH No. 6, who is honing her skills at the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery «Olympian», secured 4 medals.
She became the Ukrainian champion in mixed fours at the 500-meter distance and finished third in the 1000 meters (C-1), 500 meters (C-2), and 200 meters (C-2).
Vadim Boychuk, a student of the «Olympian», won silver in the 1000 meters (K-2) and claimed a bronze medal in the fours at the 200 meters distance.
The athletes were coached by Oleg Zhylkin and Mykola Kravchuk.
