An exciting football match unfolded at the "Chornomorets" stadium in Odessa between the team FSK "Palmira" and the Ukrainian veterans team, concluding with a victory for the seasoned players in a penalty shootout, 3:2. According to the UAF press service, FSK "Palmira" - one of the leading amateur teams in Odessa - faced the Ukrainian veterans in a thrilling encounter. Right from the start, Ruslan Khvan opened the scoring, providing "Palmira" with a psychological edge.
In the second half, Yuriy Maksymov equalized for the veterans' team, and the main time ended in a 1:1 draw, leading to a penalty shootout where the veterans proved to be more accurate with a score of 3:2.
"The match was intense and ended with a score of 3:2 in the penalty shootout in favor of the veterans," reported the UAF press service.
The veterans' team featured players: Eduard Tsikhmeistruk, Volodymyr Yezerskyi, Yuriy Maksymov, Kyryl Kovalchuk, Oleg Shelayev, Ruslan Kostiushyn, Vitaliy Mandzyuk, Oleksandr Kasyryn, Dmytro Bezruk, Vyacheslav Sviderkyi, Volodymyr Bondarenko, Mykola Ishchenko, Oleksandr Venglynskiy, and Vadym Milko. This lineup united experienced players with significant backgrounds in high-level competitions.
