Charity Auction: Champion's Sword for a Good Cause

During a charity boxing event in Odesa, the combat sword belonging to Olympic champion Olena Kravatska was sold. This weapon, with which the athlete competed internationally, was auctioned for 230,000 hryvnias.

As Olena Kravatska shared on her Instagram page, the sword was a “true battle relic.” It fetched 230,000 hryvnias at the auction.

Half of the raised funds will be directed to the 'Chimera' unit, which defends Ukraine on the front lines. The other portion will support children from shelters, including purchasing and delivering essential goods, organized by Kravatska's team in collaboration with the 'Energy of Good' foundation.

“This is where sports transform into a force for good. A place where you can smile and help,” said the fencer.

Olena Kravatska was born in Netishyn but has lived and trained in Odesa since her teenage years. This is where her career began, bringing her medals from world championships, European tournaments, and the Olympic Games.
