Ukrainian Women's Basketball Team: Upcoming Match Insights

On Wednesday, July 9, the Ukrainian women's basketball team (under 18) will play their fifth match in Division B of the European Championship hosted in Lithuania.

Coached by Inna Kochubey, the team will face Iceland at 1:00 PM Kyiv time, as reported by Ukrinform.

In other matches of the final round of Group C, Azerbaijan will meet Kosovo, while Lithuania will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the standings, Lithuania leads with 8 points, followed by Ukraine with 7, Iceland with 6, Azerbaijan with 6, Bosnia and Herzegovina with 5, and Kosovo with 4.

It should be noted that the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

As a reminder, during the group stage, the Ukrainian team won against Kosovo (62:51), Azerbaijan (78:65), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (81:76). The day before, the "blue and yellow" lost to Lithuania with a score of 46:75 (11:18, 13:14, 6:19, 16:24).
