Another victory for Odesa athletes!
In the Italian city of Caorle, the European Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling for U-20 youth has concluded.
Representing Odesa at this prestigious event was Ivan Yankovsky, a talented wrestler from the Odesa Wrestling Federation, the «Greek» wrestling club, and the «Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery «Olympian».
In a tense match for the bronze medal in the «130 kg» weight category, Ivan decisively defeated his Austrian opponent, Leonard Jungar, with a score of 8:0, showcasing the high level of training of Odesa's wrestling school.
