Students from Odesa Excel at National Physics Olympiad

Students from Odesa have made a remarkable achievement by winning two silver and three bronze medals at the national physics olympiad. All of the winners are top students from Rishilievskiy Scientific Lyceum, showcasing their exceptional knowledge among 150 participants from various regions. This information was shared by Oleksandr Lonchak, the director of the Odesa Regional Department of Education.

According to the competition results, silver diplomas were awarded to Nazariy Vrashchuk (10th grade, competed for the 11th) and Yuriy Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). The bronze medals went to Kostyantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). One of the winners, Nazariy Vrashchuk, also received an invitation to the selection training camp for the Ukrainian national team to participate in the International Physics Olympiad.

The contributions of the physics teachers at Rishilievskiy Lyceum – Andriy Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova – were also recognized for preparing the prize winners for the competition.
