Safety Mobile Class for Students at Odessa Lyceum

28 February 2025

As part of a collaborative project between the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service, supported by UNICEF, a mobile safety class was organized for 4th and 5th-grade students at Odessa Lyceum No. 71.

The main focus of the event was fire and mine safety. During the meeting, representatives of the State Emergency Service explained to the children the importance of following safety rules in dangerous situations.

Students had the opportunity to learn how to prevent fires and what actions to take if a fire occurs, what explosive items might be present, and how to identify them, as well as the protocol for encountering suspicious or explosive objects.

The event was conducted in an interactive format – students not only listened to experts but also engaged in practical exercises, examined visual aids, and asked questions.

Such educational initiatives help foster a culture of safety among children and equip them to respond appropriately in critical situations.
