New School Meal System Launched in Odesa
A new hot meal system for students in grades 1-4 has been launched in Odesa. Two more districts are finalizing their tender processes.
Today, November 14, Odesa's mayor Hennadii Trukhanov visited one of the largest schools in the Kyiv district to check on the meal organization and engage with students and parents.
Additionally, the mayor participated in a school training drill that prepares for emergencies. Recently, work was completed on expanding the shelter.
"Every day, nearly 2000 children study here, attending lessons in shifts to meet safety requirements. Previously, the school's shelter could accommodate only 250 people, which was insufficient. A decision was made to expand it, and all necessary conditions were created for this. Today, the shelter can hold twice as many people", - concluded Odesa's mayor Hennadii Trukhanov.
