Inauguration of the New Student Parliament in Odesa

Leaders of student governance from public secondary educational institutions in Odesa held the inaugural meeting of the Student Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

During the meeting, students reviewed the Parliament's activities for the 2023/2024 academic year and recognized the most active participants with certificates from the Odesa City Council's Department of Education and Science.

Attending were graduates and members of last year’s Parliament, who came to support new candidates and share their experiences.

Following this year’s voting, the new presidium of the Student Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year includes: Alina Dildina (Kyiv District), Elizaveta Buzinovska (Primorsky District), Milena Mala (Khadyzhbey District), and Daria Boyarska (Peresyp District).

Leaders of district parliaments will join the Youth Council under the Mayor of Odesa, representing the interests of the city’s youth and participating in shaping youth policy.

During the meeting, projects for the 2024/2025 academic year were approved. Key focus areas include support for socially vulnerable groups, promoting a healthy lifestyle, ecological initiatives, cultural and charity events, volunteering, and more.
