Enhancing Internet Safety in Education

In celebration of Safer Internet Day, an International workshop titled «Modern Trends and Technologies in Education» was held for educators and administrative leaders in Odessa.

The event was organized as part of a collaboration between the Odessa City Council Executive Committee and the State University of Intellectual Technologies and Communications.

During the workshop, several key topics were discussed:

- ensuring safe learning environments through the use of digital technologies;

- the role of collaboration with stakeholders in successfully reforming education;

- computer engineering and information systems, safe internet usage;

- IT company Jooble's search traffic, artificial intelligence in education: opportunities and challenges;

- cyberpsychology: challenges for the education sector.

At the end of the event, participants received certificates of participation.

Safer Internet Day was celebrated on February 11 this year. The main goal of this day is to spread awareness among children and youth about the safe and responsible use of digital technologies.
