Celebrating French Culture in Odesa: Literary Readings and Awards

As part of the celebration of French culture in Odesa, the Central City Library named after I. Franko held literary readings titled «Everyone Has Their Stars», dedicated to the anniversary of «The Little Prince» author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

During the event, winners of the national reading competition dedicated to the tale «The Little Prince» were also awarded. The competition brought together about 100 participants from all over Ukraine.

Fans of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry sent videos reciting excerpts from «The Little Prince» in both Ukrainian and French. The winners presented their works and received certificates and prizes.

Additionally, the atmosphere of the event was enhanced by performances from vocalists Sofia Mardarenko and Anastasia Yeryomenko of the Arts School No. 13 in Odesa, bard Anatoliy Sebov, and poet Vyacheslav Slysharchuk, who recited poems dedicated to Saint-Exupéry.
