Mriya Ecosystem: Transforming Education in Ukraine

Over the past year, the Mriya ecosystem has expanded from a pilot in six regions to integration in schools across 18 regions—from urban centers to frontline villages. More than 5,000 educational institutions nationwide have applied for connection.

During this time, the application and web portal have seen:

• 4.5 million assessments made;
• over 500,000 homework assignments submitted;
• 5,000+ educational videos in the open content library.
• Mriya is about simple solutions for schools and AI assistance.

Less routine for teachers: 

• automated lesson planning and record-keeping;
• adding notes, files, and other materials to classes;
• communicating with students and parents in secure chats;
• accessing professional development videos in the content library.

Starting from the new academic year, teachers will be able to automatically create tests and assign grades. 

More motivation for students — gamification, personalized learning tips, dream bonuses that can be exchanged for movie tickets or VR quests.

Transparent involvement for parents — helps track their child's learning: shows schedules and learning progress, homework, and teacher comments. It also allows communication with teachers in chats.

The ecosystem is expanding: soon Mriya will encompass extracurricular education, enabling children to grow not only in the classroom but also beyond.

Any school can join the ecosystem. Applications can be submitted on the official Mriya website.

Mriya is an initiative by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the EGAP Program, executed by the Eastern Europe Foundation with support from Switzerland.
