New Study: Best Universities in Ukraine 2025
The Odesa National University named after Mechnikov has made its debut in the top 10 best universities of Ukraine in the «TOP-200 Ukraine 2025» ranking.

According to the new ranking, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv holds the first position among the country's universities.
In second place is Lviv Polytechnic, which improved its ranking from last year.
The third spot is taken by the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Sikorsky, which led in 2024.
Sumy State University ranks fourth.
Fifth place goes to Lviv National University named after Franko.
The sixth position is held by Kharkiv National University named after I. Franko.
Seventh place is occupied by the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management.
The eighth position is secured by the Carpathian National University named after Franko.
Ninth place goes to Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.
The Odesa National University named after Mechnikov rounds out the top ten.
This “TOP-200 Ukraine” ranking has been compiled for the ninth consecutive year by the Center for International Projects “Euroosvita” in collaboration with the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence.
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv consistently ranks among the best universities in the country, though last year it placed second behind the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky».
In forming this year's “TOP-200 Ukraine 2025” ranking, the compilers considered modern trends in higher education amidst significant changes brought on by structural reforms and the war.
