New Educational Opportunities for Children in Ukraine

11 June 2025

Every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. Due to war, forced displacement, or interruptions in schooling, many students have lost the chance to fully grasp essential knowledge.

By helping them catch up, educators not only bolster their confidence and motivation but also enhance their socialization, rebuilding connections with peers and fostering a sense of safety.

To assess the level of educational losses in the public education institutions of Odesa, diagnostic assessments are being conducted in June to identify gaps in students' knowledge. Additional classes, consultations, and group activities are being organized to facilitate better material comprehension.

To address educational losses for younger schoolchildren, the program “KЕЧ” has been launched by the NGO “Go Global,” aimed at supporting elementary students who have lost part of their knowledge due to the full-scale war. The goal is to provide schools with effective tools for working in conditions that require an adaptive and intensive approach.

This project is implemented with the support of UNICEF in Ukraine, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and the Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group).
