The Issue of Abducted Children in Ukraine

On April 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented a list of abducted children to the leader of South Africa. This initiative aims to draw attention to the grave issue of child abduction during the war.

Direct quote: "There are thousands of children in Russia against their will. This is a tragic consequence of the war. The enemy has abducted tens of thousands of children from occupied territories. We must bring them home, just as we must free thousands of other Ukrainians held in Russian prisons. South Africa is supporting our initiative, and I hope President Ramaphosa will assist us in these efforts."
