Resumption of Maritime Transport Between Ukraine and Georgia

The maritime transport between the port of "Chornomorsk" in Ukraine and the Georgian port of "Batumi" has been resumed for the first time since the war began.
This was announced by Tymofiy Murakhovskyi, the director of commercial operations at JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", in an interview with "Interfax-Ukraine".
"We completed two trips on March 18 and 26. A third trip is scheduled for next week," he stated.
The first trips were carried out under conditions of information silence. Murakhovskyi urged the business community to actively engage with these routes.
The project is being implemented in collaboration with the shipping company "Ukrferry" and the subsidiary of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", UZ Cargo Poland.
