Strengthening Ties: Support for Ukraine

During a constructive dialogue, diplomats were briefed on the current security and humanitarian situation in the region. Topics included port operations, grain corridors, shelling, energy challenges, and cultural activities.

In response to questions from foreign colleagues, it was emphasized that Odesa is a multinational region with over 130 nationalities. However, today we stand united in our common struggle for independence and territorial integrity. Regardless of nationality or religion, we are all Ukrainians, working daily, under fire, for the victory and future of our children.

Ms. Delphine Pronk highlighted that the world is impressed by our people's resilience, and thus, support from EU partners will continue, ensuring Ukraine endures and becomes a full member of the EU and NATO.

The importance of further support from international partners and the need for additional air defense resources for the security of the Black Sea region were emphasized.
