Police Joined the Military-Patriotic Education of Youth
The event aims to cultivate a sense of patriotism and respect for cultural traditions in youth, as well as to develop skills necessary for self-defense and national security.
Law enforcement officials provided safety guidelines to the participants, supporting them during the competitions while the youth engaged in drill training, shooting, first aid, and other contests.
Maria Valovich, a juvenile prevention inspector from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi police department, who participated in the event with teams from educational institutions of the Tatarbunar and Lyman communities, stated:
“We took this opportunity to discuss general safety rules with the children. Specifically, we reiterated how to handle suspicious and explosive items. We also focused on rules for pedestrians and cyclists. At the request of the boys and girls, we simulated the arrest of an offender, allowing teenagers to experience being police officers.”
