Traffic Incident on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue

Today, April 27, in the afternoon on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, a serious traffic incident took place.

According to Dmitry Slyuta, the head of the transport crimes investigation department of the Odessa Regional Police, preliminary findings indicate that a 46-year-old female driver of a "Ravon" lost control of her vehicle while exiting a car wash, crashed into a fence, and mounted the sidewalk, where she struck a 7-year-old girl, pinning her against a parked "Renault".

The girl was hospitalized with suspected pelvic fractures, bruises, and abrasions.

Law enforcement checked the driver for sobriety – she was found to be sober.

The investigative team from the regional police is working to establish the complete circumstances of the incident. The question of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations is being considered.

Police once again urge drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules and remain attentive and cautious behind the wheel.
