New Trams in Odesa: A Transportation Upgrade

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, announced the rollout of new ‘Tatra’ trams:

“Starting tomorrow, the new, modern multi-section ‘Tatra’ trams will be operating on route No. 3. This was made possible through a loan from the European Investment Bank.

Eight new cars will run from the 11th station of Lustdorf Road to the infectious diseases hospital on Pasteur Street, with a 15-minute interval.

After completing all repair works on the inclusive route ‘North-South’, all 13 cars of this model will operate on route No. 7.

Additionally, for passenger convenience, we have extended the tram route No. 27. It will now run from the Fish Port to Starosinna Square every 7 minutes.

Every step is another move towards a more convenient, modern, and comfortable city. We keep working!”
