Dangerous Experiment in Odesa Ends with Explosion

A dangerous situation unfolded in the Prymorskyi district of Odesa when a man detonated a military grenade in the apartment of his friends. As a result of the incident, all participants of the gathering were hospitalized with various injuries.

On April 11th, a powerful blast echoed through a high-rise building, alarming residents of the area. 

According to the National Police, a friend visited a couple living in the building where the explosion occurred, bringing a grenade with him. For unknown reasons, the man decided to experiment with the explosive device and pulled the pin, which instantly caused the explosion. Consequently, windows in the apartment shattered.

Miraculously, no one was killed, but all three individuals sustained injuries. The perpetrator suffered a leg injury and was taken to the hospital. The couple also received non-serious injuries and was hospitalized.

The police are interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

Preliminary conclusions indicate that improper handling of explosives led to this incident.
