New Child Care Center Opens in Bessarabia
A new Day Care Center named «Bessarabia Fortress» is set to open in the Bessarabia community. This center will provide a safe environment for children aged 5 to 14 from large families, displaced families, and those in vulnerable situations. The news was shared by the Bessarabia village council of the Bolgrad district.
At this center, children will have the opportunity to play, learn, engage with a psychologist and speech therapist, prepare for school, and make new friends—all without the use of gadgets.
The project is being implemented with the support of the international charity organization SOS Children's Villages Ukraine, under the «Emergency Assistance Program» in collaboration with the NGO «Culture of Democracy» and the Bessarabia village social services center.
While the children are cared for by educators, parents will have the chance to focus on their own needs—finding jobs, visiting doctors, or addressing other requirements.
The center will also hold special meetings for parents to help them better understand their children, support them, and build trustful relationships.
«Bessarabia Fortress» represents a step towards a stronger community through caring for children and their future.
