Increase in Electricity Consumption in Ukraine

For the third consecutive day, electricity consumption in Ukraine is on the rise.

This information is provided by "Ukrenergo".

As of April 9th at 9:30 AM, electricity consumption was 1.1% higher than the same time the previous day.

The company explains that the reason for this is the sustained cold weather across Ukraine, accompanied by nighttime frosts.

On April 8th, the daily maximum for consumption was recorded in the evening, exceeding the maximum from Monday, April 7th, by 2%.

"There remains a need for energy conservation. Please limit the use of high-power appliances from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM," emphasized "Ukrenergo".

It is worth noting:

As a result of a significant drop in temperature on the morning of April 7th, electricity consumption exceeded the previous working day's level by 16%.

On April 8th, consumption continued to remain high, with a 2.3% increase compared to Monday at 9:30 AM.

"Ukrenergo" has refuted claims regarding a possible return to power outages.
