Growth of Gambling Revenue in Ukraine for 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the gambling sector in Ukraine contributed 5.4 billion UAH in tax payments to the state budget, which is a 20.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

This information was provided by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Danilo Hetmantsev.

"This amount is 143 times higher than the results of January-March 2021 (37.7 million UAH)", – he emphasized.

According to the data, in January 2025, the budget received 735 million UAH, in February – 1.52 billion UAH, and in March – 3.13 billion UAH.

Hetmantsev also noted that the total revenue using RRO/PRRO in the first two months of 2025 reached 8.5 billion UAH, which is 18.5 times higher than the figures for January-February 2024 (0.5 billion UAH).

"The introduction of mandatory RRO/PRRO usage in the gambling business at the end of last year contributes to the sector's legalization", he added.
