Latvian Delegation Visits Odesa Region

The Odesa region welcomed a Latvian delegation headed by State Secretary Edmunds Valantis of the Ministry of Economics.

This was reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

• the overall situation in the region;
• the potential involvement of Latvia in the concession of the Black Sea trade port;
• support for the region's energy system;
• the development of business contacts through a roundtable involving entrepreneurs from Odesa and Latvia.

«We have long-standing interregional ties with Latvia — a signed agreement with the Vidzeme Planning Region, partner support, and a true friendship tested by time», – noted the Regional State Administration.
