New State Register of Special Permits for Subsoil Use

The State Geological Service of Ukraine has introduced a new version of the State Register of Special Permits for Subsoil Use.

This information is reported by the press service of the State Geological Service.

The register contains data on:

- the date, duration, and basis for issuing the special permit for subsoil use,

- extension of the term and amendments to it,

- type and purpose of subsoil use,

- details about the subsoil site,

- source of funding for the works planned by the subsoil user (state or private funds),

- special conditions, information about the owner and approval for the permit issuance,

- data on agreements regarding the conditions of subsoil use or product distribution agreements, among others.

According to the State Geological Service, the special permit for subsoil use is issued in the form of an extract from the register in electronic form. The information contained in the extract is current and accurate as of the date of its generation.

The register operates around the clock, except during preventive or technical works.

Access to the resource is temporarily restricted during martial law, except for law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and local self-government.

The Chairperson of the State Geological Service, Oleg Hotsynets, stated that preparations are underway to implement state registers for artesian and oil and gas wells.

Reminder:

Through the "Diia" app, one can submit an application to the Register of Damages for compensation for emotional pain and suffering due to the disappearance of a close family member.

Ukrainians who have suffered due to Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can now submit six additional categories of applications for compensation to the international Register of Damages through the "Diia" app.

The "Diia" app has also added an extract from the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property — regarding the fact of housing destruction or a submitted application for eRecovery.
