Spring Bloom in Odesa: New Flowerbeds Unveiled

The first daisies and violets are already blooming in the Stock Exchange Square and April 10 Square. 

Traditionally, April 10 Square has been adorned with the Coat of Arms of Ukraine and waves symbolizing the sea. 

By April 10, on the Day of Odesa's Liberation, plans are in place to plant 657 square meters of new flowerbeds. 

This spring, over 1550 square meters of flowers, including violets, daisies, selene, and others, are set to be planted across Odesa's flowerbeds in 2025. Later, they will be replaced by summer flowers: salvias, petunias, primroses, tagetes, and ageratum.

All the flower seedlings (annuals and perennials), as well as flowers for vertical landscaping, are prepared by specialists from the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» in the greenhouses of the «Troyanda» enterprise. The greenhouses operate year-round, and preparations for the next year begin in September.
