Ongoing Restoration of Online Services by Ukrzaliznytsia

The teams of "Ukrzaliznytsia", in collaboration with partners and leading experts, continue the non-stop restoration of online services.

"In a secure environment, a backup infrastructure has been deployed, all components have been prepared for the restart from backup copies of critical systems, thorough diagnostics of backups is underway, and all potentially harmful elements are being identified. Complex interconnections between different systems are being restored", – states the announcement.

UZ noted that ticket offices at all train stations continue to operate in an enhanced mode with extended hours. For instance, in Kyiv on March 24, 18 ticket offices were opened instead of the usual 8. All trains continue to run strictly according to schedule.

The online systems of "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Sunday, March 23 were subjected to a massive targeted cyber attack: the restoration of all systems lasted throughout the previous day and is currently ongoing.

The key ticket sales system of "Ukrzaliznytsia", on which all ticket offices operate, withstood the attack and maintained functionality.
