New LED Crosswalks in Odessa

Odessa has introduced 7 new crosswalks equipped with modern LED lighting at the following addresses:

- 55 Family Glodan St. (Ilf and Petrov);
- 24 Architect St.;
- 44/1 Yevhen Chykalenko St. (Ak. Williams) - Officer St.;
- 178/1 Yevhen Chykalenko St. (Ak. Williams);
- Melnytska St. - Mykhailivska St.;
- Bohdan Khmelnytsky St. - Prokhorivskyi Lane;
- 15 Starosinna Square.

Experts from the KU «SMEP» continue to work on improving road safety. As of January 1, 2024, KU «SMEP» has 75 uncontrolled crosswalks equipped with LED systems.

These LED lighting systems provide visibility for pedestrians during twilight and nighttime, allowing drivers to better notice pedestrians on the roadway and significantly enhancing the safety of all road users.
