Winter Preparations for Green Spaces in Odessa

A key focus of the Municipal Green Trust is to maintain the green spaces of Odessa. Every day, the staff diligently works to keep the parks, squares, and other green areas of the city in excellent condition.

As part of the winter preparations, the gardeners are planting young trees and shrubs. They also carry out tasks such as removing dry wood and cutting down hazardous branches, watering young trees, weeding and aerating the soil in flower beds, mowing grass, and collecting fallen leaves.

Moreover, every day in all parks and squares, as well as on the children's and sports playgrounds, the staff regularly cleans the areas: sweeping paths, emptying bins, and clearing green spaces of litter. If necessary, the experts also repair garden furniture such as benches and bins.
