Alert to Residents: Be Cautious of Interference in Housing Systems

Residents are urged to be vigilant about possible interference from unknown individuals in the maintenance systems of residential buildings.

Employees of the KP «JKS «Cheryomushki» have processed a request from residents at the address: Geraniyeva St., 10, regarding the need to drain water from the heating riser to install new radiators.

During the visit to the site, it was found that the lock on the basement door was replaced without authorization by representatives of the KK «Service Plus».

This company does not service the specified building, which complicated access for utility workers to the basement.

According to the Act of readiness of the building for the heating season, signed together with the KP «City Heating Supply of Odessa», the employees of KP «JKS «Cheryomushki» must have free access to this area.

The building is serviced by KP «JKS», as confirmed by the appropriate contract. To carry out urgent work at the site, utility workers cut off the old lock, installed a new one, and performed all necessary tasks.

«The request has been processed, the radiators have been replaced, and the entire system is functioning. The site is ready for the heating season 2024-2025», - noted the head of the sector No. 2 of KP «JKS «Cheryomushki» Oleksandr Musafir.

This is not the first case where employees of management companies that previously serviced buildings resort to unauthorized actions regarding the housing stock.

Attention! Such actions are illegal, and residents are asked to report these incidents to their KP «JKS» or to the hotline 15-01.
